2020 in real estate was a year well-described by Churchill’s quote "A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty." According to Andero Laur, Liven’s CEO, many people who had been waiting for real estate prices to drop, missed the opportunity when it finally arrived.
By 2025, Liven will have built a new residential quarter along Erika Street, in North Tallinn, in place of the old factory building, which will connect the seaside Noblessner area with the future insect corridor. KTA was recently announced as the winner of the architectural design competition.
Liven Kodu 15 OÜ, a subsidiary of Liven AS, and Maru Ehitus AS entered into a construction contract worth 7 million euros, as a result of which 3 buildings with 80 apartments and commercial premises will be built in the centre of Tallinn. A real estate development called Väike Tallinn will be completed at the end of 2021.
Liven's Creative Director, Alina Kester, talks about marketing real estate during a crisis and explains why Liven is currently directing its marketing budget only towards Estonian media channels.
Luuslangi Homes. It's not a typical name. What is the reason behind this choice?
Home builder Liven grew into a public limited company and raised EUR 3 million in capital to acquire more properties for the development of new apartment buildings. The goal is to grow sales to 300 new homes per year in the coming years. A board was formed, consisting of Andres Aavik, Andres Järving and Peeter Mänd. The company also changed its name to Liven AS.
