The lush greenery of Nõmme continues in Kristiina’s, Indrek’s, and their two children's home, where abundant plants and vases filled with blooming flowers adorn every room. After a long search for a home in Tallinn, the active family finally found one on the outskirts of Nõmme's health trails, where excellent train connections allow everyone to conveniently and quickly commute to downtown for work or school.
Toom-Kuninga Street is located between the neighborhood called Uus Maailm, and the oldest districts of Tallinn. The house is located on one of the quietest streets in the city center, away from the hustle and bustle.
"When I was a child and visited my family acquaintances living in the Uus Maailm area, there was often a boy my age who would say he lived in America. Now I know that he probably lived on the street Väike-Ameerika (Little America) or Suur-Ameerika (Big America), but back then, it seemed like the coolest thing ever – to live in America!" recalls Priit about his knowledge of the Uus Maailm neighborhood before moving there.
Alina’s and her two children's home in Kalamaja on Suur-Patarei street is a charming blend of industrial style, contemporary design, and closeness to nature. Their previous home can be described as sophisticated and urban, but when they started looking for a new home, Alina wanted to create an interior that feels cozy, playful and free.
Liven is constructing A-class energy-efficient homes with geothermal heating on the streets of Särje and Kõrkja, located by Lake Harku. In the second phase, 5 terraced houses comprising 30 homes will be completed, along with an adjacent park area. The construction contract has been signed with Tesron Ehitus OÜ, who also completed the first phase of the development.
A new development consisting of 13 residential buildings and 1 commercial building with 224 homes is coming to Haabersti, Jalami street. The development called Luuslangi, developed by Liven, will be built in three stages, and the first 80 homes will be ready at the end of 2023. Mitt & Perlebach, the project’s construction partner, began work on the first phase in summer 2022.
