The majestic Toom-Kuninga
Art déco interiors may be a hundred years old but they have never felt as up-to-date as now. How do you transfer this timeless but rather hedonistic style to today’s small urban apartments without compromising the modern amenities? This is demonstrated by a two-room rental apartment on Toom-Kuninga Street.
Ambience is everything
When you enter the apartment of Heli who is planning to retire and has lived half of her life in Kopli, you need to leave all your prejudices outside. At the first glance, it’s hard to believe that the owner of the apartment is a grandmother of teenagers. Her unmistakably modern studio apartment is the perfect example of an elegant but at the same time very comfortable home.
Comfortable and modern Nordic minimalism
When Margo started furnishing a home in a house with attractive, modern design in Northern Tallinn, on a street lined with tall trees and leading towards Stroomi Beach, she wanted to create a modern, comfortable home for herself, her two children and her cat Smurf who is now in a rather advanced age.
Harmony is created together
The starting point for Anne and Erko’s home was simple – lots of sun, natural materials, minimalism. These were the only objectives when they looked for their very first shared home. The house on Alasi Street seemed to have all the right prerequisites for creating such a home from the first moment.
Less stuff. More colour
Gertrud, a teacher, moved from Tartu to Tallinn very spontaneously due to a great offer. In the middle of the week, with a suitcase in one hand and a pet carrier with her cat Bob in the other. Then she started looking for a home.
Life in the middle of a vibrant city
Edi and Rauno’s soon-to-be family of four who used to live in a house near the city saw the move into a smaller home not as an objective in itself, but the couple wanted a home in the middle of the vibrant city life, freedom from mowing the grass, and spontaneous meetings with friends.
