The Real Estate Company Liven Is Growing and Has Raised Three Million Euros
Home builder Liven grew into a public limited company in 2019 and raised EUR 3 million in capital to acquire more properties for the development of new apartment buildings. The goal is to grow sales to 300 new homes per year in the coming years. A board was formed, consisting of Andres Aavik, Andres Järving and Peeter Mänd. The company also changed its name to Liven AS.
Liven has firmly established itself in Tallinn’s residential market in its six years of operation. Last year, the company posted a profit of EUR 1.58 million on a turnover of EUR 2.9 million. In the light of the successful sale of apartment buildings, Liven, which previously operated as a private limited company, decided to raise additional capital. With the help of new shareholders and additional capital, the company plans to finance the purchase of new properties in Tallinn, thus offering its customers even more choice.
Liven’s CEO, Andero Laur, asserts that there is great demand for well thought-out and stylish homes in the capital’s real estate market. “Liven’s developments are highly sought-after. More than half of the apartments will be sold before construction begins. By the time the building is completed, almost all the homes have been sold,“ says Laur.
A good example is the apartment building at 6 Suur-Patarei Street, which will be completed in the coming spring in Kalamaja, where most of the homes have already been sold. “We want to be the first choice for home buyers in Tallinn, the goal is to make purchasing an apartment convenient for people. You can buy an apartment with a kitchen, wardrobes, lamps and even curtains. In addition, we have introduced a user-friendly virtual environment that allows people to explore their homes and make choices regarding finishes. We also want early buyers to have the most accurate overview of what their home will look like,” explains Laur.
To date, Liven has built over 300 homes and more than 1,000 apartments are under construction at different stages of development. The construction of 5 apartment buildings at 5 Alasi Street in Kopli will commence at the end of this year. Next year, the company plans to start building and selling four new property developments.
Liven was founded in 2014 with the aim of developing residential real estate in Tallinn. The company’s board consists of Andres Aavik, Andres Järving and Peeter Mänd. The company has built homes in different areas of the capital, such as the luxury apartment building at 21 Toom-Kuninga Street and Katla Maja, an industrial-style apartment building near the Tallinn Creative Hub or the homes featuring a hobby room for sports enthusiasts at 11 Vääna Street in Nõmme, as well as many others.
